Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a finance professional to partner with academic and administrative stakeholders, providing data-driven financial advice and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and planning. You will monitor performance, analyze variances, and manage revenue, receivables, and cash flow while ensuring governance and compliance with university policies.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and experience in a matrix, fast-paced environment. 5+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification would be beneficial.
• Able to operate in a matrix, fast-paced environment with initiative.
• Strong interpersonal relationships across levels and teams.
• Solid analytical thinking and written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to handle high volume and multiple stakeholders with strategic focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective financial operations and governance by supporting procurement, payments, asset management, financial closing, audit activities, and compliance with University policies and controls.
• Support Finance Business Partner in any other matters

Job description

Salary: Up to S$5500/month

Duration: 1 year contract (convertible / extendable)

Location: Pioneer

Working hours: Mon to Thur (8.30am to 5.45pm) and Fri (8.30am to 5.15pm)

Requirements

Able to balance attention to detail while maintaining strong understanding of broader strategic objectives

Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion

More than 5 years of experience in a combination of Financial Planning & Analysis and Controllership

Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)

Good knowledge of SAP system

Good knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Ariba system would be advantageous
