Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned finance professional to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the organisation. You will partner with stakeholders to monitor financial performance, prepare management reports and ensure sound cash flow, revenue recognition and compliance with internal controls.

1-year contract term with local statutory working hours. It is preferred to have 4–5 years of experience and a Degree in Accounting/Finance; Chartered

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and identify risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
• Oversee revenue management and receivables processes to ensure timely revenue recognition, effective collections and sound cash flow management.
• Review funding and budget requests, evaluate business cases, and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses, translating complex financial information into actionable insights.

Location: Pioneer

Working Hours : 8.30am - 5.45pm (Mon - Thu) & 8.30am - 5.15pm (Fri)

Salary: Up to $5,500 per month

Duration : 1 Year

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with academic and administrative stakeholders to provide financial advice and support data-driven decision-making.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities to ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and identify risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
• Oversee revenue management and receivables processes to ensure timely revenue recognition, effective collections and sound cash flow management.
• Review funding and budget requests, evaluate business cases, and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses, translating complex financial information into actionable insights.
• Support financial operations and governance, including procurement, payments, asset management, financial closing, audits and compliance with internal policies and controls.
• Provide additional support on finance-related matters as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum a Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification is a plus.
