Job summary

ST Engineering seeks an experienced SAP FICO specialist to act as a Finance-focused subject matter expert. The role covers SAP PS, CS, PP, SD, and MM, with a focus on engineering, manufacturing, and MRO accounting. You will support finance users daily, design processes, and lead trainings.

You will also test changes, prepare guides, and collaborate with IT and consultants to drive improvements and ensure control compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting SAP FICO and related modules (PS, CS, PP, SD, MM) in a Finance or Finance Systems role.
• Strong knowledge of costing, cost control, and financial accounting entries for Engineering Design and Development, Manufacturing and MRO processes.
• Familiarity with month-end closing activities and financial reporting in SAP.
• Experience providing user support and training to Finance teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP FICO, Project System (PS), Customer Service (CS), Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules from a Finance perspective.
• Provide daily functional support to Finance users to resolve system-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and deliver user training for Finance staff to strengthen SAP proficiency and promote best practices.
• Support Finance process owners in designing and documenting end-to-end business processes, with a focus on Engineering Design and Development, Manufacturing and MRO operations and their accounting impacts in SAP.
• Assist in testing, data validation, and user acceptance for system changes and new functionalities.
• Prepare user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Finance function.
• Coordinate with IT, SAP consultants, and other stakeholders in Finance and Operations for issue resolution, enhancements, and integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards in system processes and configurations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting SAP FICO and related modules (PS, CS, PP, SD, MM) in a Finance or Finance Systems role.
• Strong knowledge of costing, cost control, and financial accounting entries related to Engineering Design and Development, Manufacturing and MRO processes.
• Familiarity with month-end closing activities and financial reporting in SAP.
• Demonstrated experience providing user support and training to Finance teams.

• Bachelor of degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• SAP certification is an advantage.

• Prior involvement in SAP system upgrades, testing, or change management.
