Manage the full spectrum of outsourced accounting activities for a portfolio of local and international clients.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Conduct Financial Due Diligence (FDD) engagements, including financial analysis and identification of key business risks and opportunities.
Liaise with clients, external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders on accounting, audit, and compliance matters.
Review balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger schedules, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and reviewing work to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Identify process improvements and support the implementation of best practices to enhance operational efficiency and client service standards.
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience gained in an accounting firm, audit firm, corporate services provider, or consulting environment.
Prior experience in Financial Due Diligence (FDD) engagements will be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and financial reporting requirements.
Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and handling the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients, auditors, and tax agents.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Willingness to travel to Malaysia and/or Indonesia for project-based assignments will be an advantage.
Proficiency in Japanese or an interest in learning Japanese and working closely with Japanese clients will be advantageous.
