EY is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager in Singapore to help financial institutions address accounting and reporting challenges. You will collaborate with CFOs and cross-functional teams on finance transformation, FP&A, data analytics, and controls, with a focus on IFRS standards and regulatory changes.

You will contribute to insurance accounting advisory, strategic restructurings, and compliance reviews, while supporting internal audit engagements and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• A degree in accountancy, finance, data/business analytics or an equivalent discipline, or a professional accounting qualification.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to prioritise shifting workloads while building effective relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Drive finance transformation initiatives with CFOs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform data transformation and analytics; support automation of financial reporting.
• Provide FP&A expertise including budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist clients in optimising processes and implementing robust controls for compliance and efficiency.
• Support IFRS 17, IFRS 9, IFRS 18, RBC regulatory changes and associated implementation.
• Deliver insurance accounting advisory workstreams and IFRS 17 solution implementation.
• Contribute to strategic restructuring projects and new entity set-ups.
• Assist with MAS regulatory compliance assessments and internal audit engagements.
