CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Operations professional to support the Associate Director, Operations, Singapore in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of our retail mall.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or related field, willingness to lead a team, and a proactive approach to safety, contracts, budgeting, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth mall operations and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical / Real Estate / Facilities / Building / Estate/ Property Management/ Operations)
• Graduates with relevant degree but no prior relevant experience are welcome
• Experience with WSH regulations would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and maintenance of the retail mall
• Coordinate operation programs and maintenance works
• Assist in preparing the Operations annual budget and contracts
• Support the Asset Enhancement Initiatives and promotions
• Liaise with Contract & Procurement for equipment replacement and enhancements
• Ensure timely handling of feedback and service requests; manage vendor services
• Assist in safety compliance and participate in EHS activities

Job Description Responsibilities

• You will support the Associate Director, Operations, Singapore in managing effective operations and maintenance of our retail mall.
• Coordinate operation programs and execute maintenance works to ensure the mall operates at optimum level
• Assist in preparation of Operations annual budget, manage and administer all maintenance contracts and supervise expense for the operational needs of the mall
• Assist in the implementation of the Asset Enhancement Initiatives, renovation works carried out by tenants and operational support for the promotional activities of the mall
• Liaise with Contract & Procurement team, manage and execute specific/adhoc procurement of equipment cyclical replacement & enhancement works in the mall
• Manage and attend to all feedback and service requests in a timely manner
• Work closely with the technicians and manage vendor services to achieve the required professional standards in day-to-day operations
• Assist to handle mall incident and to update incident report
• Ensure that vendors and tenants’ contractor comply to safety guidelines and follow strict safety compliance at all times
• Part of Company Emergency Response Team (i.e. Site Incident Controller, First Aider, etc)
• Part of Environmental Health Safety (EHS) team for review & approval of permit to work (PTWs), risk assessment, safety checks/audits of the mall.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical / Real Estate / Facilities / Building / Estate/ Property Management/ Operations)
• Relevant experience in real estate industry an advantage
• Graduates with relevant degree but no prior relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Able to work within tight timelines, resourceful and systematic in resolving problems
• Willingness to work as a team and a strong team lead
• Exhibit strong initiative, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with WSH regulations would be an added advantage
