Job summary

Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is seeking an Assistant Manager, Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements for new projects, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support users during the transition to new applications.

You will create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes and analysis findings, perform functional testing with business users, and translate business needs into technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Background in IT or software product management.
• At least three years of experience as a business analyst.
• At least four years of experience in quality assurance or management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and BI software.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Basic project management skills and knowledge of approval flows, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus.
• One-year contract position.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for new projects or initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the organization.
• Support business users during the transition to new applications.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and analysis findings.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders concisely.
• Perform functional testing individually and with business domain users on new features or capabilities.
• During parallel runs, perform data entry into new applications while current work continues in the existing application.
• Perform data comparison between existing and new applications to ensure data capture correctness.
