Job summary

Geodis Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced logistics professional to ensure accurate receipt, storage and security of goods within the warehouse. You will design and monitor efficient processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and support customers with tailored logistics solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or higher and at least 5 years in logistics, with knowledge of WMS/TMS/OMS and MS Office. Forklift license is preferred to enhance on-site operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse safety and adherence to guidelines.
• Support customers' logistical needs and optimize resource deployment.
• Review daily procedures to improve productivity and flows.

About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, maintenance and security of all goods and equipment within the warehouse operation. The contract logistics department handles designing supply chains solutions, warehouse management, transportation and distribution of goods and inventory management by working closely with customers to meet their specific needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify gaps and analyze root causes to potential drawbacks that might hinder the warehouse operations
• Manage and monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is stored appropriately
• Analyse logistics data to identify areas where improvements can be made, such as reducing lead times, improving on-time delivery, and optimizing inventory levels
• Perform continuous improvement activities on outbound/inbound logistics flow, cost savings, and operational efficiencies
• Maintain good relationship with the customer by ensuring operational KPIs are met and prompt resolution of issues
• Attend monthly KPI meeting and presentation with customer
• Ensure compliance to warehouse safety and adhere to the guideline
• Render support to customers' logistical needs
• Ensure warehouse resources are deployed in most cost optimum manner
• Review daily operational procedures to ensure continuous improvement in process flows, productivity and operations

About you

• Diploma certification and above
• 5 years of working experience or more in logistics industry required
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations
• Effective communication
• Knowledge on WMS/TMS/OMS and MS Application
• Attention to details - follows procedure accurately, carefully and completes report or other documents accurately
• Able to express clearly, to listen and understand effectively (instruction and feedback)
• Preferably with Forklift license
