Job summary

THEVAR PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth opening and closing and supporting the restaurant manager.

You will mentor new staff, supervise service delivery, enforce health and safety standards, manage procurement, and maintain accurate cash handling and expense records in a busy Singapore venue.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the restaurant.
• Assist the manager in the restaurant.
• Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
• Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
• Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
• Purchasing new ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.
• Sourcing better deals on all resources and equipment that warrant replacing or replenishing.
• Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.
• Everyday ad-hoc duties
