Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an experienced Deployment Project Specialist in Singapore to lead multiple deployment tracks for major system go-lives. You will work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan and execute the deployment, ensuring successful outcomes and adherence to timelines.

The role requires 5–7 years in IT, with at least 3 years hands-on in implementing IT systems, and a solid grasp of project delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent.
• 5–7 years within IT industry with at least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing IT systems.
• Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with medium to large scale projects including system architecture and high-level end-to-end workflows.
• Proven leadership and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple deployment tracks (GLRA, Full Dress Rehearsal, Cutover, Command Centre).
• Monitor and execute delivery to achieve project goals and on-time completion.
• Develop project plans covering requirements, scope, deliverables, resources, budget and schedules.
• Define tasks and resource requirements for optimal utilization.
• Enforce best practices/frameworks for project implementation.
• Identify, manage and track issues, risks and dependencies affecting delivery.

Job description

Position Overview

This deployment role, with the guidance from the deployment lead and sub-track lead, will be responsible for delivering the assigned deployment work for major system go-lives. The candidate will work closely with the key stakeholders as well as the multi-functional teams on the planning and execution to achieve the project goals.

This is a 2 year direct contract role.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple deployment tracks in areas such as Go-Live Readiness Assessment (GLRA), Full Dress Rehearsal, Cutover and Command Centre, responsible for the monitoring and execution, ensuring successful completion
• Determine project goals to ensure the project supports business objectives and strategies
• Develop project plans which include requirements, scope, deliverables, resources, budget, and schedules
• Define project tasks and resource requirements to achieve optimal resource utilisation
• Enforce use of best practices and frameworks for project implementation
• Identify, manage and track issues, risks and dependencies that affect the delivery of the project outcome
• Track project deliverables and ensure projects are completed within budget, schedules and quality standards
• Present reports and project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis
• Engage internal teams to ensure systems integration is included in relevant workplans
• Manage vendor to deliver projects and change requests on time to meet overall project goals
• Deliver projects in line with agreed standards, providing fit for purpose solutions within constraints

Requirements

• Degree in IT or equivalent
• At least 5 to 7 years within IT industry, with at least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in implementing IT systems.
• Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Possess work experience with medium to large scale projects with good knowledge on system architecture and design, complex system integration and high-level functional end-to-end workflows.
• Possess leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Strong critical skills such as oral, written and verbal communication skills and analytical capability.
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Able to cope with changes and pressures positively and stay on course to achieve the set goals
• Think outside the box and push boundaries to strive for continuous process improvement
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment and be a good team player.
• Healthcare domain knowledge and/or relevant deployment experience for medium to large scale projects would be an advantage
