Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Singapore to lead deployment programs across GLRA, dress rehearsals, and cutover activities. You will coordinate goals, budgets, and timelines, while aligning with business objectives and stakeholders to deliver successful go-lives.

You will guide cross-functional teams, optimize resources, manage risks, and ensure quality deliverables within scope and schedule, reporting progress and resolving escalations as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute multiple deployment tracks (GLRA, Full Dress Rehearsal, Cutover).
• Define project goals aligned with business objectives.
• Develop plans including requirements, scope, deliverables, resources, budgets, schedules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine deployment strategy.
• Plan and optimize manpower resources to support the project.
• Guide teams to milestones per go-live schedule.
• Define expectations for reviews, status reports, risks and mitigations.
• Review progress and address schedule slippage or scope creep.
• Guide team in problem resolution and corrective actions.
• Ensure all deliverables meet scope, budget, timeline and quality.
• Maintain relationships with sponsors and manage expectations.
• Resolve escalations and make trade-offs to protect quality and objectives.
• Escalate key issues to management for immediate attention.

Job description

• Manage and execute multiple deployment tracks in areas such as Go-Live Readiness Assessment (GLRA), Full Dress Rehearsal, Cutover and Command Centre, responsible for the monitoring and execution, ensuring successful completion
• Determine project goals to ensure the project supports business objectives and strategies
• Develop project plans which include requirements, scope, deliverables, resources, budget, and schedules
• Work with the key stakeholders and management team to refine the deployment strategy and processes to meet users’ expectations
• Plan, hire, and optimise manpower resources to support the project
• Advise and guide the project teams to work out the key milestones agreed by users according to the go live schedule
• Define the expectations for periodic and milestone reviews including status reports, project issue & risk identification, mitigation/actions etc to ensure successful project implementation
• Conduct regular reviews of project status to ensure project progress as planned and detect any risks in schedule slippage or scope creep early, and provide guidance for mitigations/prevention
• Guide team in complex problem resolution and develop corrective actions
• Oversee and ensure all the project deliverables are delivered in accordance to the agreed scope, budget, timeline while meeting the quality objectives
• Develop and maintain a trusted and strong relationship with key stakeholders, especially project sponsors, and manage their expectations and gain agreement to achieve win-win outcome for all parties
• Guide and support team in resolving stakeholder's escalations and make sound trade-off decisions without compromising quality and project objectives
