Job summary

SINOPPEL DEVICE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee daily finance and accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets. You will manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings and provide timely management reports.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, tax compliance and internal controls, while partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse and HR. Experience in distribution or electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Knowledge of GST, tax, and statutory reporting in Singapore.
• Experience leading a finance team in distribution or electronics.

Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.

Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Prepare management reports and provide financial analysis and insights to Management.

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of business performance against targets.

Manage cash flow, treasury, banking matters and foreign currency exposure.

Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, ageing and product cost/margin analysis.

Manage accounts receivable, credit control, customer collections and credit exposure.

Ensure timely tax, GST, audit and statutory compliance requirements.

Strengthen internal controls, finance processes and support ERP/automation improvements.

Lead and develop the finance team while partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, HR and other departments.

Requirement

Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline , with relevant professional qualifications preferred.

Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience , preferably in distribution, trading or consumer electronics.

Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, GST, tax and statutory requirements , with experience in financial reporting and audit.

Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, inventory and credit control.

Senior Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager with experience in leading a team is welcomed to apply.
