Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a senior finance professional in Singapore to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and controllership. You will partner with academic and administrative stakeholders to provide financial advice and support data-driven decisions.

The role involves monitoring performance, analysing variances, managing receivables, and preparing management reports. You will ensure governance, compliance, and timely closing of books in a university setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification would be beneficial.
• Experience in a combination of Financial Planning & Analysis and Controllership.
• More than 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with academic and administrative stakeholders to provide financial advice and support data-driven decision-making.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, ensuring alignment with School and University priorities.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and identify risks and opportunities to enhance financial outcomes.
• Oversee revenue management and receivables processes to ensure timely revenue recognition, effective collections, and strong cash flow management.
• Review funding and budget requests, evaluate business cases, and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses, translating complex financial information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Maintain effective financial operations and governance by supporting procurement, payments, asset management, financial closing, audit activities, and compliance with University policies and controls.
• Support Finance Business Partner in any other matters
