Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior finance professional to lead FP&A and controllership, translating data into actionable insights for school/university stakeholders.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with priorities, monitor performance, manage revenue and receivables, and ensure governance across procurement, payments, asset management, closing, and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification would be beneficial.
• Experience in FP&A and Controllership.
• More than 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with academic and administrative stakeholders to provide financial advice and support data-driven decision-making.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, ensuring alignment with School and University priorities.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and identify risks and opportunities to enhance financial outcomes.
• Oversee revenue management and receivables processes to ensure timely revenue recognition, effective collections, and strong cash flow management.
• Review funding and budget requests, evaluate business cases, and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses, translating complex financial information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Maintain effective financial operations and governance by supporting procurement, payments, asset management, financial closing, audit activities, and compliance with University policies and controls.
• Support Finance Business Partner in any other matters
