Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support the finance team in Singapore. The role focuses on delivering timely financial reporting, budgeting, and business partnering across industrial and manufacturing projects.

You will oversee audits, tax compliance, and control governance while driving process improvements and ERP-enabled automation. Collaboration with Sales, Operations and Procurement is essential for commercial success.

Qualifications

• Min degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA or CPA is a must.
• At least 5 years of relevant finance/accounting and 3 years of external auditing experience, preferably in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, trading or project-based sectors.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, audit, tax, internal controls and business partnering.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with D365, JDE or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, financial statements and Group reporting.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and management reporting to support business decisions.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, debtor collection, inventory and foreign exchange exposure.
• Oversee internal and external audits, tax compliance, GST and statutory reporting requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance with Group policies and procedures.
• Oversee procurement governance, including vendor onboarding, purchase orders, supplier performance and policy compliance.
• Review tender costing, gross margins, project risks, capital expenditure and business proposals, providing commercial advice to Sales, Operations and Procurement.
• Lead and develop Finance and Procurement team members while driving process improvements, automation and finance system enhancements.
