Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking an hands-on Finance Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations across manufacturing entities and a service centre. Responsibilities

• Review and supervise accounting activities by GL Executive, AR Officer, and AP Officer.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, reporting, consolidation, and balance sheet reviews.
• Oversee inventory accounting, costing, stock provisions, cash flow, and working capital.
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with Department Heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and targets.
• Analyze performance against budget; identify variances; propose improvements.
• Monitor revenue and cost drivers; provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Support management, board, and investor reporting with financial analysis.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls and systems.
• Coach finance team members while managing day-to-day operations.
• Support Financial Controller on group reporting and ad hoc initiatives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

A hands-on Finance Manager responsible for overseeing finance and accounting operations across manufacturing entities and a service centre. The role involves supervising a small finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, sub-group consolidation, inventory accounting, compliance, internal controls, and statutory audits, while partnering with business leaders and supporting the Financial Controller.

• Review and supervise accounting activities carried out by the GL Executive, AR Officer, and AP Officer to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing, management reporting, sub-group consolidation, and balance sheet reviews.

• Oversee inventory accounting, costing, stock provisions, cash flow, and working capital management.

• Coordinate statutory audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Partner with Department Heads to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and operational targets.

• Analyze financial performance against budget, identify key variances, and recommend corrective actions and improvement initiatives.

• Monitor revenue and cost drivers, providing insights to enhance profitability, operational efficiency, and risk management.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Support the preparation of management, board, and investor reporting materials, providing financial analysis and business insights.

• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance finance reporting tools and systems.

• Coach and develop finance team members while remaining actively involved in day-to-day finance operations.

• Support the Financial Controller on group reporting, strategic initiatives, and other ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

Education

• Degree in Accounting / Business Management / Finance

Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, with 7+ years of finance and accounting experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Good knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, internal controls, statutory compliance, and audit management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills, with high attention to detail.

• Effective communicator with the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

• Independent, proactive, and capable of leading a small finance team while supporting the Financial Controller.
