Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd is partnering with the public sector to recruit an Assistant Manager, Finance. The role focuses on overseeing and optimising Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets, ensuring accurate invoice processing, expense verification, and timely month-end and year-end closes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Workday and data analytics tools is advantageous for driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accountancy or related field.
• 3 years of finance/accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in accounts payable and fixed assets management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Workday and data analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, independent and able to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals, reconciliations and reporting.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting, including capitalisation, disposal and periodic verification.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
