Job summary

IMD Info-communications Media Development Authority in Singapore invites a Finance professional to join the Finance team within the FIP Division. The role focuses on optimizing Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate asset records, while supporting month-end activities and audit readiness.

You will use Workday or a comparable ERP, apply data analytics to monitor performance and compliance, and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Accountancy, with at least three years of relevant experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome too.
• Proficiency in Workday or a comparable ERP system.
• Ability to use data analytics and visualisation tools to identify trends, risks and exceptions.
• Working knowledge of automation and AI applications in Finance; coding expertise is not required.
• Ability to explain financial and system-related matters clearly to non-Finance stakeholders.
• Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive working attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Review and verify vendors' invoices to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Ensure prompt and accurate processing of invoices according to service level agreement. Verify expense claims with necessary documentation and approvals. Monitor AP performance, ageing, accrual exposure and recurring processing issues through dashboards and data analytics.
