Job summary

ACHIEVE TECHNOLOGY ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD is seeking an Operational Finance – Executive / Assistant Manager (Maternity Cover) based at Mapletree Business City. You will support GL team, perform month-end close, and ensure compliance with IFRS and group policies.

The role requires 2-5 years in financial accounting, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred), and professional qualifications such as ACCA/CA/CPA are advantageous. Overtime during closing periods may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or audit.
• Experience with GL, month-end closing, IFRS and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; Oracle Fusion a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support GL team with day-to-day finance operations.
• Prepare general ledger entries and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support IFRS compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with Group accounting policies.
• Assist with statutory audits and internal control requirements, including SOX/ICFR.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc duties and projects as required.
• Be prepared to work weekday overtime during financial closing periods.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Maternity Cover

Key Responsibilities

• Support the GL team with day-to-day finance operations and routine accounting activities.
• Prepare general ledger entries and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support IFRS compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with Group accounting policies.
• Assist with statutory audits and internal control requirements, including SOX/ICFR.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc duties and projects as required.
• Be prepared to work weekday overtime during financial closing periods when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, GL, operational finance or audit.
• Good understanding of GL accounting, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, IFRS and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore or CPA Australia are an advantage.
• Comfortable with occasional weekday overtime during closing periods.
