Job summary

ST Engineering seeks a Mechanical/Marine & Offshore engineer to lead planning, resource deployment, and quality control for marine projects at Benoi Road. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with OEM/class/owners, supervise staff, monitor progress and safety, and ensure timely delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include generating schedules, attending progress meetings, and driving process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, marine or offshore engineering.
• Experience in marine industry or similar capacity.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding methods and NDT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and utilize manpower and materials; liaise with other departments on daily production schedule.
• Generate and monitor drawings/tech info issuing schedule.
• Attend project progress and HAT meetings and assess staff performance.
• Identify training needs and monitor quality, progress, and productivity.
• Study work processes, look for improvements, and liaise with owners/class for inspections.
• Plan to meet project schedule and department budget; manage consumables.
