Job summary

ES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Engineer – AutoCAD Drafter to join the engineering team for a 1-year contract renewable assignment. Diploma holders or junior candidates with 0–2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience are welcome.

The role focuses on 2D AutoCAD drafting and interpretation of piping isometric drawings. Work hours are Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm. Benefits include a 1-month bonus upon completion, HP claim, medical claims, and leave.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design, CAD Drafting or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant AutoCAD drafting, engineering drafting or a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, particularly for 2D drawing generation.
• Able to read and understand 2D Piping Isometric drawings.
• Internship/project experience involving AutoCAD drafting is welcome to apply.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
• Able to work independently as well as with engineers and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD according to project and engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret 2-dimensional Piping Isometric drawings.
• Prepare accurate engineering and fabrication drawings based on specifications and project requirements.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to incorporate drawing revisions and technical changes.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete and comply with required engineering standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of technical drawings.
• Support the engineering team with drafting and other related technical documentation.

Our client, regional sales office of a leading MNC in the manufacturing industry, specialising in industrial electrical heat and control solutions, is looking for an Assistant Engineer – AutoCAD Drafter to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity forDiploma holders or junior candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experiencewho are looking to build their career in engineering drafting and industrial design.
