Job summary

Linkmet Controls Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our team in the Pandan Loop region. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to develop mechanical engineering skills while contributing to meaningful projects in control instruments for energy, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.

You will provide in-house engineering support to the sales team and customers, assist with product sizing and quotations, and help prepare technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics or related field; NiTEC considered.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience in inside sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently, proactive and eager to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

About the role

Linkmet Controls Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our team in the Pandan Loop Region. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their engineering expertise whilst contributing to meaningful projects. This role provides an ideal stepping stone for an aspiring engineer looking to build a solid foundation in mechanical engineering.

What you'll be doing

• Provide in-house engineering support to sales team and customers.


• Product sizing and selection of product


• Prepare and generate quotations for sales team


• Prepare and maintain accurate Technical Documentations


• Liaise with overseas principals


• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics or related field. Candidates with NiTEC can be considered too. Those with no working experience are welcome to apply.


• Strong Proficiency in MS Office (Words, Excel & Powerpoint). Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Basic AutoCAD will be useful.


• Experience in inside sales will be considered an advantage
