Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore seeks a seasoned cybersecurity training professional to develop roadmaps and syllabi for Threat Hunting, Penetration Testing, and Incident Response. You will track training requirements and ensure alignment with doctrine and operations, shaping the cybersecurity curriculum across the Group.

Qualifications

• Education in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or training.
• SANS 500 series qualifications or equivalent is preferred.
• Good command of written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous with excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.

What the role is

You are responsible for assisting on training and doctrine development. You develop and track training roadmaps and syllabus for the cybersecurity expertise within the Group.

What you will be working on

• Develop training roadmaps and syllabus in line with doctrines and concept of operations for Threat Hunting, Penetration Testing and Incident Responses
• Track and manage training requirements within the Group
• Develop doctrines and concept of operations in line with the latest developments in the cybersecurity domain
• Support the training office for other secondary taskings, where required

Challenge(s)- Keeping updated on the latest incidents and developments in the cybersecurity domain within the commercial sector- Working closely with the training office on training matters

What we are looking for

• Education in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field is preferred
