Job summary

The Rehabilitation & Social Mobility (RSM) Policy Directorate develops strategies, policies and programmes to deliver stability, self-reliance and social mobility for lower-income families; protect individuals from abuse, neglect or problem gambling; and rehabilitate individuals from social dysfunction.

You will lead a dynamic team driving problem solving in social policy and service delivery through data analytics.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience with supervisory exposure.
Strong quantitative methods and application skills.
Proficient in statistical software (R, Python, Stata, SPSS).
Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
Interpersonal, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
Understanding of data governance and database management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a team to drive problem solving in social policy and service delivery through data analytics.
Coordinate and develop the research and analytics agenda within SMI to support policymaking and programmes.
Conduct research and analysis related to social support for lower income households.
Collaborate with academics, consultants and stakeholders on projects informing decision makers and the public.
Support data requests for policy/strategy needs, ensuring data quality and cleanliness.
Ensure adherence to data governance with proper documentation of datasets.
