Job summary

Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager to coordinate and conduct research and data analysis informing policymaking and service delivery. You will work across the Strategy, International & Research Directorate and the Research and Analytics Division to strengthen the link between policy, practice, operations and analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong in quantitative methods and application, and proficient in at least one statistical/ data analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, STATA)
• Strong analytical, communications and project management skills
• Appreciation of social policies would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist to develop the social research agenda within MSF to support policymaking and programmes
• Conduct quantitative research and analysis and distil useful key insights for policymakers
• Conduct ops analytics (e.g., predictive analytics) for ops decision-making
• Manage research projects’ key deliverables and timelines
• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., academics, consultants and research companies) on selected projects
