Job summary

Health Promotion Board is seeking an Assistant Director to strengthen risk management, governance and organisational resilience. You will collaborate with divisions to embed risk practices into operations and build risk-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in enterprise and operational risk management, governance, compliance, business continuity management or related disciplines.
• Ability to build engaged stakeholders and provide practical, balanced advice on risk, governance and operational issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues, exercise sound judgement and develop pragmatic solutions.
• Good project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear management reports and presentations.
• A proactive and self-driven approach, capable of independent work and effective teamwork.
• Interest in continuous improvement, digitalisation and organisational effectiveness.
• Experience in risk management, governance, compliance, business continuity management, programme management, audit or related fields would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen HPB's risk management, governance and organisational resilience capabilities across divisions.
• Support the integration of risk management practices into business operations to enable informed decision-making.
• Promote risk awareness, ownership and accountability through governance initiatives.
• Provide risk advisory and business partnering to divisions, ensuring consistent risk practices.
• Support enterprise risk management processes including RCSA activities and the administration of risk systems.
• Contribute to incident management and business continuity planning and governance reporting.
