Job summary

Health Promotion Board in Singapore seeks a dynamic Assistant Director to lead Operations Excellence & Programme. Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Operations Management or related field; professional certification is an advantage.
• 7–10 years in operations excellence and programme management.
• Experience leading a team across multiple workstreams with accountability in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong governance, process improvement, programme and vendor management, performance reporting, risk, audit and quality assurance.
• Collaborative, adaptable leader with stakeholder, facilitation and presentation skills; familiarity with automation or digital productivity tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver its full range of workstreams and outcomes.
• Set direction and translate priorities into an integrated workplan across two portfolios.
• Deploy resources, assign leads, coach officers, review performance, and manage risks and escalation.
• Ensure programmes are high quality, delivered safely, consistently and effectively for residents.
• Oversee governance and assurance, develop dashboards and performance reviews to monitor health and progress.
• Drive continuous improvement and productivity using data, feedback and root‑cause analysis.
