Job summary

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Assistant Director, Operations. Reporting to the COO, you will drive operational readiness, governance, and divisional administration across data protection, asset planning and cross-functional programmes to position EGH for its opening.

You will develop integrated workplans, monitor milestones, oversee budgeting and workforce planning, and coordinate with SingHealth partners and stakeholders to strengthen governance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10–12 years of relevant work experience with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of data protection, privacy compliance, governance and incident management.
• Strong project management skills including milestone planning, dependency management, risk tracking and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning and execution of operational readiness initiatives with integrated workplans and milestones.
• Oversee divisional administration, budgeting, manpower planning and workforce coordination.
• Collaborate with Data Protection Office, SingHealth institutions and project teams to strengthen governance and compliance.
• Prepare executive-level reports, trackers and management papers with clear recommendations.
• Influence diverse stakeholders while maintaining accountability and data confidentiality.
