Job summary

Montfort Care in Singapore seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Mental Health Services to support the Director in programme development, financial management, and quality assurance for community-based care.

You will lead staff development, ensure compliance, oversee data reporting, and collaborate with government agencies and healthcare partners to deliver high-quality services and advocate for clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

A master's degree in social work, public health, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
A bachelor's degree in the same fields may be acceptable with significant relevant experience.
At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in social services, with leadership roles in programme management and staff supervision.
Strong understanding of mental health policies, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director in implementing strategic plans and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
Collaborate with the Director to enhance existing mental health programs and manage new projects.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and oversee reporting processes.
Support budget development and resource monitoring for programs.
Ensure compliance with laws and accreditation standards while improving IT systems.
Build relationships with stakeholders and advocate for mental health initiatives.
Lead recruitment and supervision of mental health professionals and support staff.
