Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead the Learning & Development and Talent Management function for a new Singapore hospital project, slated to open in the early 2030s. The role emphasizes learning strategy and delivery, leadership development, and succession planning.

You will partner with Centres of Excellence and HR teams to design programs at scale for a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • At least 14 years of relevant experience, ideally in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong track record designing and delivering L&D strategies and programmes at scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, concepts and proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with job family leads and the organisation's Centre of Excellence for Learning & Development to design and implement learning strategies for hospital staff.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of learning programmes to support staff development, post-appraisal interventions, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Design and implement innovative, tailored learning solutions to meet the specific development needs of diverse staff groups.
  • Manage the nomination process for leadership development programmes.
  • Plan, coordinate and administer in-house and external leadership development programmes.
  • Stay current on trends, tools, technologies and best practices in learning and development.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and job family leads to identify, groom and position talent for leadership roles.
  • Manage the annual Talent Identification and Succession Planning (TISP) exercise across job families.
  • Track and monitor individual development plans for identified high-potential staff.
  • Organise engagement sessions between senior leaders and high-potential talent.
  • Support headship appointments in partnership with HR Business Partners, including governance and end-to-end administration.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director to lead the Learning & Development and Talent Management function for this new hospital. While the portfolio spans both talent management and L&D, this role has a strong emphasis on learning and development strategy and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development (Primary Focus)

  • Partner with job family leads and the organisation's Centre of Excellence for Learning & Development to design and implement learning strategies for hospital staff.
