Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a role in the supervision of investment intermediaries to conduct firm-specific risk assessments and thematic analyses. You will evaluate conduct, risk management, and internal controls while staying abreast of evolving business models in the investment management sector.

The role requires strong data analytics skills, written and verbal communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of funds and asset management industry, and applicable regulations.
• Prior working experience in the regulatory, financial or audit industry is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong background in data analytics, and proven ability to identify and present key risk insights on short timeline.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake firm-specific risk assessments and thematic analyses.
• Evaluate conduct of intermediaries and identify emerging trends or risks.
• Assess effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and market conduct practices.
• Develop understanding of operations, risk management, and conduct-related risks for investment intermediaries.
• Keep pace with developments and business models in the investment management industry.
• Work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
