Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore is seeking a role within the Financial Advisers Supervision Department to strengthen supervisory capabilities over financial advisory institutions and insurers.

The role focuses on evaluating risk management, controls, and market conduct, while leveraging data analytics and AI to improve supervisory indicators and decision making. Regular interaction with external auditors, industry bodies, regulators, and other MAS teams is expected.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the supervision of financial institutions performing advisory and insurance broking activities.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and market conduct through onsite and offsite reviews.
• Contribute to reviews related to supervision, legislative changes, and current processes.
• Engage in data analytics, refining supervisory indicators and analyses.
• Collaborate with MAS departments and external parties such as audit firms, industry bodies, regulators, and government agencies.
