Job summary

SingHealth’s International Collaboration Office (ICO) seeks an Assistant Director to expand the organisation’s global presence across service, education, and research.

You will lead a small team, develop and manage international healthcare programmes from proposal to implementation, and oversee a portfolio of funded projects with senior clinical partners. Overseas travel is required, and experience across cultures will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years of working experience, with 4+ years in healthcare or international collaboration.
• Proven programme/project management experience including budget and stakeholder management.
• Experience working across cultures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset and execution skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
• Overseas travelling is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage international healthcare programmes from proposal through to implementation.
• Work closely with project directors and clinical leaders to ensure objectives are met and outcomes are monitored.
• Coordinate relationships with stakeholders across assigned territories and with partners such as Duke-NUS.
• Oversee a portfolio of funded projects, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.
• Develop and refine project monitoring systems in collaboration with the team.
• Develop tertiary care collaboration frameworks and manage referral processes with clinical partners.
• Manage programme budgets, develop funding proposals, and engage funding partners.
• Implement marketing strategies and outreach for assigned territories.
• Contribute to development and implementation of operational procedures and departmental policies.
