The role focuses on strategic planning, budget oversight, stakeholder engagement and leadership of managers and staff in a dynamic community mental health ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a managerial capacity within social services; mental health experience is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to influence and build rapport with a broad range of stakeholders across sectors.
• Proven leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate issues into robust actions.
• Strong project and change management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Formulates short-, medium- and long-term strategies and action plans aligned to CMH/MHCS mandate.
• Operates Care Corner's mission and strategy through community mental health services with professional principles.
• Monitors financial viability and cost structures, implementing cost-control measures.
• Oversees community mental health and group-level services alongside MHCS leaders.
• Leads recruitment, performance reviews, coaching and staff development.
• Engages funders and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and service delivery.
