Job summary

Institute of Mental Health in Singapore seeks a Deputy Director / Assistant Director (Community Mental Health) to provide strategic and operational leadership for CMH. You will drive growth, strengthen partnerships across primary, tertiary and social services, and position IMH as a trusted system partner regionally and nationally.

You will lead the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of community mental health programmes, coordinate with NMHO, NHG PHC, AIC and other partners, and

• Strong administrative credibility and leadership experience required.
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate policy into operational impact.
• Experience in service redesign, quality improvement, or healthcare transformation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities.
• Data-driven decision making and outcomes-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the CMH Office, defining scope and governance.
• Align community mental health efforts with national strategies and existing platforms.
• Identify care gaps and translate into institutional priorities with COEs and stakeholders.
• Strengthen ecosystem partnerships and integration across care levels.
• Lead planning, implementation and continuous improvement of CMH programmes.
• Champion digital and data-enabled transformation to guide service development.
