Job summary

HEPTACON CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent assistant to support the CRO in planning and launching public relations programs for construction projects, including preparing circulars, letters and notices, and handling inquiries.

You will conduct surveys of existing conditions, coordinate work, manage resident and contractor communications, attend to complaints, and ensure smooth operations with HDB/Town Councils, reporting developments and mitigating impacts.

Qualifications

• Assist CRO to plan and launch public relation programs for construction projects.
• Prepare circulars, letters and notices for project communications.
• Conduct surveys on existing conditions (e.g., spalling concrete, ceiling leaks).
• Take measurements as part of site condition assessments.
• Plan and coordinate assigned work to be carried out on schedule.
• Handle enquiries, feedback and complaints related to projects.
• Follow up on actions to resolve issues raised.
• Work with residents, contractors, consultants and authorities during upgrades.
• Mitigate complaints by proactive measures during construction.
• Explain retrofit provisions to residents/tenants.
• Maintain good rapport with residents/tenants and visit clients regularly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and complaints and track corrective actions.
• Monitor upgrade work procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Explain retrofit locations and purposes to residents/tenants.
• Perform general administrative duties.

Job description

Core responsibilities:

• Assist CRO to plan and launch public relation programs for the construction projects, such as preparing circulars, letters and notices.
• Conduct survey on existing condition, such as: spalling concrete and ceiling leakage etc. as well as taking measurement.
• Plan and coordinate assigned work to be carried out in a timely manner.
• Handle enquires, feedback and complaints pertaining to the projects as well as follow-up on actions to resolve it.
• Work closely and ensure smooth operation procedure during upgrading work between the relevant parties such as residents, contractors, consultants and authorities like the Town Councils and Housing Development Board (HDB) etc. as well as take proactive measures in mitigating complaints arising from the construction activities.
• Show, explain and demonstrate to residents and/or tenants the location and purpose of retrofits provisions.
• Maintain good rapport and positive relations with the residents and/or tenants.
• Conduct regular visits to residents and/ or tenants affected by the works to gather feedback and keep them posted of the work schedule’s changes and impacts.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
