Job summary

BB EXPRESS CAFE PTE. LTD. is seeking kitchen staff to assist in food preparation and cooking while upholding hygiene standards in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities include washing and portioning ingredients, following recipes, assisting chefs, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. Candidates should be willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or restaurant kitchen operations is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow supervisor instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, peeling, measuring, and portioning according to recipes.
• Cook food items following recipes and quality standards.
• Assist chefs and cooks in daily kitchen operations and food preparation tasks.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented meeting hygiene and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and prep areas.
• Receive, store, and organize ingredients and kitchen supplies efficiently.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures consistently.
• Monitor ingredient levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties to ensure readiness and cleanliness.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.
