Job summary

SO GOOD BAKERY (REPUBLIC) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a passionate kitchen team member to support daily menu preparation, ensure high quality, and maintain safety standards. You will assist in stock management and cross-cover kitchen and counter sections as needed.

This role requires expertise in Japanese cuisine, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work weekends and public holidays. Good organizational skills and a creative flair for food are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of daily items for our menus and ensure high quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for kitchen and counter equipment.
• Monitor stock levels with regular stock checks and proper storage.
• Assist in monthly inventory checks.
• Cover all kitchen and counter sections as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Report to head Chef.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of daily items for our menus and ensure that items prepared is of high quality and in accordance to the restaurant’s standards.
• Maintaining a clean working environment and ensure safety when operating kitchen & counter equipment
• Monitoring stock level through regular stock checks and make sure stock is properly stored.
• Assist in monthly inventory checks.
• Covering all the section in the kitchen & counter time to time in order to coordinate smooth daily operations.
• Assist and report to the head Chef

Requirements:

• Expertise in Japanese Cuisine
• Highly motivated, quick learning individual with excellent interpersonal skills
• Passion for food with a creative flair and is result orientated. Able to perform shifts including weekends and Public Holidays.
• Good organizational and planning abilities.
• 6 days work week
