CHINA RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION GROUP CORPORATION LIMITED SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our civil and structural projects in Singapore. The role focuses on measuring quantities, preparing BOQs, evaluating variations, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to manage costs and ensure contractual compliance.

You will prepare monthly claims, forecast cashflow, and monitor cost control while ensuring accurate documentation and timely settlements

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Building/Structural Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• High proficiency in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a quantity surveying firm; or main contractor for civil/building works in Singapore.
• Able to work under pressure, and multitask.
• Responsible, high initiative, resourceful and meticulous.
• Good ability in negotiation with client and subcontractors on Variation Order.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly progress claims and settle with consultants on monthly payment.
• Evaluate and forecast monthly cashflow, budget projection and cost control monitoring sheet.
• Assess and prepare Variation Orders and Loss and Expense Claims; settle VO differences with client and consultants.
• Measure quantities and take-offs; prepare Bills of Quantities for tender, construction, sourcing, variation and payment verifications.
• Compare drawings to identify differences from contract requirements for claims.
• Coordinate with other departments and liaise with subcontractors and clients.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
