Job summary

BHCC CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support cost control, budgeting, and contract administration across public and private developments in Singapore.

You will prepare interim valuations, manage variations, tender submissions, and liaise with project teams on cost advice throughout pre-construction to post-construction, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience; public/private residential and mixed development preferred.
• Experience with main contractor backgrounds is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Filing of variations and monitoring of project variations.
• Valuing completed works and filing progress claims; manage contract documents.
• Prepare interim valuations and certificates for subcontractors; evaluate variation claims.
• Monitor procurement process; attend site/technical meetings.
• Source and negotiate award letters/agreements/purchase orders to sub-contractors/vendors.
• EOT claims preparation and price comparison evaluations.
• Provide cost and financial advice to the Project Team across pre-construction, construction and post-construction.
• Quantity take-off, cost estimation and preparation of tender submissions with deadlines.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

• Prepare interim valuation and certificate of sub-contractors claims according to work completed and evaluate variation claims
• Monitoring of procurement process
• Attendance of site/technical meetings
• Source, negotiate preparation of awarding letters/agreements/ purchase order to sub-contractors/ vendors
• EOT claims preparation
• Evaluation of price comparison summary
• To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.
• Quantity take off, cost estimation, preparation of tender submission with specific deadline
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience. Preferably in public (HDB), private residential and mixed development projects.
• Working experiences with Main Contractor would be an advantage.
