Job summary

GMP Technologies (S)Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive business development professional to identify opportunities in renewable energy, solar PV and related sectors across Singapore and international markets.

You will coordinate from initial discussions to tender and implementation, supporting market-entry, partnerships, and commercial arrangements with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in business development, project development or commercial coordination.
• Exposure to renewable energy, Solar PV, BESS, infrastructure or EPC projects would be advantageous.
• Strong experience in tender/proposal preparation and stakeholder coordination.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in renewable energy, Solar PV, BESS, infrastructure and related sectors.
• Conduct market research and support market-entry and business expansion strategies across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and other international markets.
• Coordinate projects from initial discussions through proposal, tender, negotiation and implementation preparation.
• Manage EOI, RFI, RFP and tender submissions, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, utilities, project owners, partners, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants and investors.
• Support review of commercial structures, investment arrangements, EPC financing, equipment supply and revenue models.
• Coordinate commercial and legal agreements, including JV Agreements, Cooperation Agreements, EPC contracts and MOUs, working with management and external lawyers.
• Prepare management reports, business proposals, presentations, meeting minutes and project updates.
• Support regulatory, licensing and compliance requirements across different markets.
• Coordinate suppliers and logistics for solar panels, BESS, transformers and other project equipment.
• Support business meetings, site visits, overseas travel and other business development activities.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in business development, project development or commercial coordination.
• Exposure to renewable energy, Solar PV, BESS, infrastructure or EPC projects would be advantageous.
• Strong experience in tender/proposal preparation and stakeholder coordination.
• Good commercial awareness with ability to coordinate contractual, financial and regulatory matters.
• Strong communication, presentation, organisation and project-tracking skills.
• Ability to work with international stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to prepare and coordinate professional business documentation; multilingual communication capabilities would be advantageous.
