Job summary

A1 Main Contractor in Singapore is seeking an Architectural Design Coordinator to lead a team and oversee architectural works across commercial, industrial, and high-rise projects. You will coordinate with consultants and clients to ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and timely delivery.

The role requires five years of relevant experience, a degree in Architecture, and knowledge of URA/BCA submissions. Based at Redhill with a 5-day work week and a salary from $6,000 to $9,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in construction or engineering consultancy
• Knowledge of local submission and authority processes (URA, BCA)
• Must have degree in Architecture and experience with commercial/industrial/high-rise developments
• Ability to lead and coordinate architectural design coordination teams

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in preparing reports, managing documentation, and attending coordination meetings
• Lead a team of Architectural Design Coordinators in managing and coordinating architectural works per project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure correct interpretation and implementation of drawings and details
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes of practice, and company standards
• Plan, organise, and supervise production of construction drawings, including shop drawings and approvals
• Provide technical support to the site team and address discrepancies or design issues during construction
• Monitor architectural progress on-site and resolve coordination issues involving structural, M&E, and ID trades
• Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet architectural requirements
