Job summary

Wisma Recruitment Centre in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Machinist to join a precision electronics components facility near Ubi MRT. The role involves operating lathe and milling machines, plus simple machining of enclosure boxes, with training provided. You will assist QA for inspections, support warehousing and logistics, ensure accurate records, and maintain materials flow. Candidates with N/ O levels or NITEC qualifications and 2–3 years of relevant experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• GCE 'N'/'O'/SPM Level, NITEC and/or Higher NITEC in any disciplines.
• Experience in Assembly & Warehousing operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on in operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe and milling machines; training provided.
• Operate engraving machine; training provided.
• Prepare materials for assembly, perform assembly work and simple enclosure machining.
• Assist QA Engineer in inspection tasks as required.
• General office maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Primary

• Operate the lathe and milling machine – training will be provided.
• Operate engraving machine – training will be provided.
• Preparation of materials for assembly, assembly work and simple machining of enclosure boxes.
• Assist the QA Engineer in inspection work when required.
• General office maintenance as and when required.
• Other assignments may be assigned from time-to-time.

Secondary

Support logistics and warehousing activities such as:

• Picking, packing and preparation of packing list/name tags list.
• Pick and issue productive materials for assembly.
• Receive goods (GRN), arrange and store incoming goods orderly i.e. storage of Ex products and accessories are clearly segregated from non-Ex items as per Atex requirements.
• Maintain proper records of all items received and issued.
• Carry out cycle-count and participate in annual stocktake
