Job summary

WISMA RECRUITMENT CENTRE is seeking a hands-on operator for machining and assembly tasks. The role involves operating lathes and milling machines, engraving equipment, and preparing materials for assembly, with training provided.

You will assist the QA Engineer with inspections and perform general office and warehousing duties as needed. Open to ALL candidates; permanent full-time position in Singapore with standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O/SPM or NITEC or Higher NITEC in any discipline.
• Willing to operate machining and assembly equipment.
• Good communication skills in English; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the lathe and milling machine; training provided.
• Operate engraving machine; training provided.
• Prepare materials for assembly and perform simple enclosure box machining.
• Assist QA Engineer with inspections when required.
• Conduct general office maintenance as needed.
• Support secondary duties in logistics and warehousing as assigned.

Experience

• Assembly & Warehousing Operation: ≥ 2 years
• Manufacturing/Electronics Metal Industry: ≥ 3 years

Qualifications

GCE 'N'/'O'/SPM Level, NITEC and/or Higher NITEC in any disciplines

Responsibilities

Primary

• Operate the lathe and milling machine - training will be provided.
• Operate engraving machine - training will be provided.
• Preparation of materials for assembly, assembly work and simple machining of enclosure boxes.
• Assist the QA Engineer in inspection work when required.
• General office maintenance as and when required.
• Other assignments may be assigned from time-to-time.

Secondary

• Support logistics and warehousing activities such as:
• Picking, packing and preparation of packing list/name tags list.
• Pick and issue productive materials for assembly.
• Receive goods (GRN), arrange and store incoming goods orderly i.e. storage of Ex products and accessories are clearly segregated from non-Ex items as per Atex requirements.
• Maintain proper records of all items received and issued.
• Carry out cycle-count and participate in annual stocktake
