Job summary

CROWN WORLDWIDE SINGAPORE is seeking an ASRS Operations Specialist to oversee the safe, accurate and efficient day-to-day operation of the four-way shuttle ASRS used for records management cartons. You will manage inbound storage, outbound retrieval, inventory integrity and system monitoring, coordinating with vendors for faults and planned maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required in logistics, warehousing, mechatronics, automation or related discipline.
• Approximately five years of relevant experience in automated warehousing or ASRS operations.
• Hands-on experience with WMS/WCS interfaces, control panels, dashboards, alarms and operational reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, start up and shut down the ASRS per approved procedures.
• Manage end-to-end movement of records cartons into/out of the ASRS; staging, induction, storage and retrieval.
• Prioritise retrieval and put-away per customer service requirements and service levels.
• Monitor system queues, throughput, alarms and exceptions via warehouse interfaces.
• Maintain safe staging areas and coordinate carton handling with warehouse staff.
• Maintain accurate carton and location records across ASRS, WMS and records systems.
• Investigate mislocations, rejected cartons, and inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct cycle counts, exception checks and stock reconciliations; document actions.
• Respond to alarms and faults using first‑line recovery procedures; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate service calls with vendors and contractors; log downtime and restoration actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and data handling requirements.
