Job summary

Maersk in Singapore is seeking an ASRS Technician to oversee automated storage and retrieval systems in a warehouse setting. You will operate cranes, conveyors, and control systems to manage loading, storage, and retrieval of goods, while complying with safety and SOPs.

The role requires an engineering diploma or equivalent, experience with automated material handling equipment, and strong attention to detail. Flexibility for shift work and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating ASRS or similar automated material handling equipment.
• Proficient in data entry and system monitoring.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate ASRS equipment for loading, storing, and retrieving goods.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of ASRS equipment.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements at all times.
• Monitor operations via WCS, HMI, and control systems and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to prioritize tasks and support order fulfillment.
