The role emphasizes teamwork, versatile knife skills, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Previous kitchen exposure is helpful but not mandatory, and training will be provided to develop cooking skills.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience or culinary school training is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interest in cooking and eagerness to learn new culinary skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Good time management skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie and kitchen team with daily food preparation to ensure timely service.
• Perform basic cooking tasks including chopping, peeling, marinating, and mise en place to support kitchen operations.
• Store, label, and rotate ingredients properly to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations following hygiene and safety standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
• Support kitchen workflow during service to help maintain smooth operations.
• Learn and apply culinary techniques under senior chefs' guidance to develop cooking skills.
