Job summary

Julius Baer seeks an experienced Portfolio Manager to support CIOO Asia & Middle East in expanding DPM across Asia, with focus on Greater China. You will construct and manage discretionary portfolios, engage clients in Mandarin and English, and collaborate with RMs to grow client opportunities.

The role demands a strong track record in multi-asset investing, proficiency with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, and regulatory knowledge. CFA is advantageous; financial markets in Asia are your arena.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years in portfolio management, DPM mandates or multi-asset investing.
• Native/near-native Mandarin and strong English communication.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Construct and manage the Clients’ portfolios in line with objectives and risk profiles.
• Engage with clients in Business Mandarin and English, providing investment insights.
• Partner with RMs to originate and convert DPM opportunities in Greater China.
• Prepare investment proposals, portfolio reviews and client presentations.
• Ensure portfolios comply with mandate guidelines, regulations and policies.
