Qualifications

Job description

This role is primarily focused on relationship management across agent banks, custodians, and Central Counterparties (CCPs) operating within highly regulated environments. The position serves as a key point of contact and escalation for operational matters involving these external providers, ensuring effective issue resolution and strong partnership management.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide support in executing regional strategies, driving change initiatives, and resolving operational challenges
  • Manage and maintain strategic relationships through regular engagement with Agent Banks, Custodians, and CCPs
  • Conduct periodic due diligence reviews to assess service quality, risk, and performance
  • Review and evaluate fee structures and service charges to ensure competitiveness and value
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to support informed decision-making
  • Support business growth initiatives and market expansion efforts, including the establishment and closure of external accounts
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely documentation, resolution, and implementation of preventative measures through post-incident reviews where appropriate
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Leverage strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams, global networks, and external partners
Preferred Experience
  • 5–7 years of experience in network management, securities settlement, custody operations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with custodian banks, agent banks, CSDs, and CCPs
  • Proven track record in resolving settlement-related issues, negotiating service level expectations, and managing counterparty risk
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse internal and external groups
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and commercial acumen, with a collaborative approach and strong networking skills
  • Highly accountable, proactive, and adaptable, with a continuous learning mindset and positive attitude
  • Strong ability to interpret, analyze, and manage data effectively
