Job summary

Schroders in Singapore seeks an Communications Manager, Asia to lead communications and public relations across Southeast Asia, with oversight for Japan. You will partner with business, marketing and Group Communications to protect and enhance Schroders' reputation and support regional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years' experience in corporate communications, PR or media relations.
• Experience in financial services or asset management preferred.
• Proven track record delivering earned media outcomes.
• Experience in internal communications and executive communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative and proactive in a fast-paced regional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of communications and public relations strategies for Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand) while providing strategic communications oversight for Japan.
• Develop and execute integrated media relations programmes that support business priorities, thought leadership and corporate reputation objectives.
• Identify and secure profiling opportunities, interviews, speaking engagements and awards for leaders and experts.
• Develop media releases, statements, briefing materials and Q&As to support business initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key business, financial and trade media across Southeast Asia.
• Lead day-to-day management of Schroders' PR agency partners across Southeast Asia and Japan.
• Drive the delivery of the regional internal communications programme, including town halls and newsletters.
• Partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders and marketing teams to deliver impactful communications and ensure messaging consistency.
